ABA methodology is the principle to teach a variety of useful and necessary skills. We design a Behavior Intervention Plan for each child. Then, the plan is constantly monitored to guarantee progress. Some examples of the target skills are:
- Expressive language: make requests, label observed things, ask questions, and respond to questions asked
- Receptive language: follow instructions, understand what others say
- Imitation
- Potty training
- Daily living skills
- Feeding training
- Social skills
- Academic skills
Research has demonstrated that ABA Therapy is an effective evidence-based treatment for autism when delivered consistently and by qualified professionals. More personal ABA agencies are necessary, and that was our motivation to create Let’s Talk ABA Therapy. Our commitment is to provide families with highly trained technicians that are under frequent supervision from a behavior analyst (BCBA). In sum, we believe that families should become empowered to fight obstacles.
